Ruins Of The Mindcrackers 1 Map is a CTM map, it is based on the server called Mindcrack. Mindcrack is a server created by Guude. The goal of the map is to complete the Mindcrack monument, the map is designed to be very anti-grinding aswell as easy to medium difficulty. The map plays very well for youtubers since you don’t have to do a lot of off camera work to have fun.

Devastation Gauntlet Map is a Linear map applying 1-4 players.

The basis was you had virtually unlimited supplies, meaning stacks upon stacks of every block, item, and tool in the game. The challenge you were faced with was thusly paramount in difficulty.

However, at the early days, Devastation Gauntlet was actually rather easy under this premise, composed of a long 1 block wide walkway above the void with lava-falls on either side about 5 blocks out. Ghast and blaze spawners on the other sides would produce monsters which would sequentially shoot through the lava unhindered at the player. While normally a terrifying concept, the vast amount of gear made it trivial to construct safety rails, ceiling, etc. and simply walk across untouched.

So now there’s this.

Everything the original should have been: Hard, rage-inducing, and spewing diamonds in your face so you can die with them. I have made minor tweaks in the supplies given, but the concept still remains. Major difficulty. Manifold supplies. Millions of deaths. Anf enjoy the 1065 spawners

Deathrun Map for Minecraft 1.4.7/1.5.1/1.5.2

Deathrun Map, originally a Team Fortress 2 game mode, is a mini game where the players have to complete a track, full of traps. It’s not just an ordinary jumping-puzzle, there is also a so-called Activator. You’ll need at least 2 players to start a round. The players are separated into two teams:

• Runners: Their goal is finish the track. If you enable the “time challenge” setting, the runners have to complete the track within the given amount of time. The number of players in this team depends on the total number of players in the server. If you play with more than 2 players, it’s most likely that you will play most of the time in this team. If one Runner makes it to the end, the entire team will win.. and the Activator will burn! When a Runner dies, he will respawn in a spectator room. He can navigate through the map using a button at the back of the spectator rooms.


• Activators: randomly chosen from all players. His goal is to stop the Runners from completing the track. To do so, the Activator has to push buttons to enable traps on the track. As soon as the Activator starts running, the Runners will be released. At that moment, the activator becomes invisible, so the Runners can’t see where he is. If all Runners are dead, the Activator wins.

If you play with a small number of players, it’s recommended to enable fast health regeneration, but nobody’s stopping you to disable it. You can enable a time challenge, or enable hard mode. These rules can be changed to balance the two teams, or to make it a near-impossible game.

If you want to change the settings, you’ll have to be in creative mode. This is a safety precaution to prevent guest players from changing the game rules.  This way, only opped players are able to change the settings. When you’re in creative mode, press the ‘Adjust game settings’ button in the lobby. You will be teleported to the settings room. To be safe, hit the ‘Manual Reset’ button before leaving. Usually the map resets itself after every game, but if this didn’t happen for some reason, you can always manually reset the map from here.

• Play on easy difficulty


• Turn PvP off


• Don’t break any blocks


• Use the texturepack


• Turn commandblocks on in server.properties


• Don’t play on a bukkit server, because it causes some problems

The Soul Cauldron Map isn’t a easy map. You will have to THINK about how to tackle your obstacles. You have fire resistance potions from the start… USE them, MAKE more and don’t forget to craft the items you need! Did you die in Lava? Why didn’t you have fire resistance on? Hell, why don’t you just pour water all over the lava? This isn’t a good map for people just starting out in custom maps as it uses some advanced Minecraft mechanics. Play carefully, play smart, don’t panic. Good Luck.
